A new sophisticated injection plate actively cools the GPU. All other chips are sufficiently cooled by the semi-passive cooling plate which also makes contact with the main cooling block.
Phillips technology: Like the Alpha NexXxoS XP in 2004 patented Phillips technology in the cooling plate was developed. The Finns and channel structure has been further refined. The fins are 0.5 x 0.5mm tall and 2.5mm high. This enables a very large and rapid heat transfer from the copper to the cooling fluid.
SLI mode: The inlet and outlet are outward pointing on this cooler so it can be easily used in SLI mode. Up to four graphics cards can also be connected with the Alphacool GPX SLI connector.
Back plate: The back plate is Included with all GPX blocks adding small passive cooling fins to cool the back of the graphics card. This give the graphics card a great look but also protects it at the same time.
Passive cooling plate: The passive cooling is perfectly matched, just 18mm deep cooling fins that cover the rest of the graphics card completely.
